Autism and being tired
For as long as I can remember I’ve always been fatigued. Even when I was a toddler, I always fell asleep from tiredness. This is still the case, even tough I have seen a lot of doctors, and none of them could find a solution.
They usually search too far, I’ve had 2 scans of my brain, 3 sleep-studies and dozens of visits to neurologists. One doctor prescribes a medicine, and another discovers that that medicine disrupts some important brain-process to fall asleep, Or I got all possible side-effects. Even tough I always said I had ASD, just recently a doctor said that it indeed could be. Because I receive way more input.
This is just the start, I mean we have the cause (all-tough I already knew it), but we do not have a solution. I’m still going trough life fatigued, I sleep about ~9 hours a day, with a nap. And if I sleep less, I would be even more tired.
At the moment, caffeine keeps me awake, if I get tired, I drink an espresso, cola and soda are not advised, as they are unhealthy. I’m currently trying another, healthier alternative for coffee: Green Thea, however I need to test this one out.
